Now it's official!
The Swedish Kennel Club confirms that our Farao Anubis
Ramses
is Top Winning Dog # 20 ALL BREEDS in Sweden 2001! This is
the highest ranking ever for a PH in Sweden!
Our beautiful Ramsan is also Top Pharaoh Hound 2001 Swedish
Kennel Club system.
November 24th
Farao Anubis Mossad was
BOB, with CC, and ended up as Best Of Group 3rd, in Estonia!
Antefas L'Odéah got
her Norwegian Championship, and CACIB in Hamar! Antefas
Minas Tirith was BOS, and also got his Norwegian
Championship, and CACIB, and also the Norwegian Winner
title, NV-01. Tirith is with this win, now also qualified
for Crufts 2002.
November 18th
Ramsan's son, Antefas
Menkhar "Fr'Ankh", is
now Swedish Champion! Fr'Ankh is the fifth pup from Antefas
M-litter, (Farao Anubis Ramses x Puressence Dandaloo Doowi)
to finish!
November 3rd & 4th

Anubis Ramses wrote
breed history in Sweden, when he was placed as
Best In Show 2 at
the second biggest (nearly 4000 dogs) all breed KC Show in
Sweden! This being the highest placing ever for a PH in
Sweden! Now it's just one more level left to reach! This was
the fifth time Ramsan won the Group! And his second group
win this year!
Breed judge (10 PH's entered) was Mrs Tina Permo, Per Mobile
Whippets, Group judge: Ms Martha Heine, Germany, and BIS
judge was Nils Molin.

Kahiro, was Best Male 2 and got his first CC!
October 18th & 19th
Thursday the 18th, Farao
Anubis Ramhira Ziffa, "Ärtan" (which means "The little
Pea") left for USA, all alone by air, to realize "The
American Dream", and to meet her new owner Jan Butterworth,
who also own the stunning PH male, LC & AMCh Kamaraj Ka
Ziffa, of mostly Merymut bloodlines, which I admire so much.
The day after, Farao
Anubis Ravishing Dream Electra, "Kickis" began her long
journey, 16 hours by air, to join her halfbrother Farao
Anubis Ram, and her new owner Taeko Nishijima in Japan.
I really miss them already, but I wish them all luck in
their important task which lies ahead of them! Which give me
some comfort in my sorrow to part from them.
October 13th
Ch Antefas Minyah won Best In Show!
At Swedish Sighthound Club Show
(all Sighthound breeds) under breed specialist Annette
Bystrup, kennel Nofretete Denmark.
This was the second time in Swedish Pharaoh Hound
history that a PH was Best In Show at a Sighthound Show, the
first time it happened was 13 years ago, back in 1988, when
the outstanding Ch Antefas Farah Dibah was BIS!
And now Dibahs little grandchild Minyah followed in her
famous ancestors footsteps!
Huge Congrats from Minyahs daddy Ramsan, to Antefas
kennel & to Minyahs owners!

PH's!

August 10th
Antefas Kahira "Bibbi",
gave birth to a litter of five healthy puppies, two dogs and
three bitches, sired by Farao
Anubis Ramses. One
boy and one girl, are light honey colored
and one boy is medium colored. Two girls are dark tan. The
girls have white tailtips. All the pups have small to medium
sized "stars" on their chests.They all seems to have long
elegant arched necks, long powerful hind legs and beautiful
heads and expressions.
July 28th-29th
At Skokloster two days of Sighthound and PH Specialties
we were rewarded with BOS both days! First day (26 PH
entries, 734 Sighthounds) at the Swedish Sighthound Club
Specialty, judged by Mrs Wilfriede Schwerm-Hahne, was Farao
Anubis Ramses BOS,
and his daughter Antefas Lotus was BOB and Best In Show 5! Antefas
L'Odéah was
BB-2. Farao
Anubis Kahiro was
BIS 5 Junior! Our Progeny Group was placed as Best In Show
2.
Next Day at the Swedish PH Club Specialty, with 32
entries, Antefas
L'Odéah won
BOS!
Young Farao
Anubis Kahiro was
Best Male 3, beating his father Antefas
Menkhar who
was BM-5.
And Kahira is
still expanding...! The little ones are kicking and running
inside her.And due to her condition, we had to go home
before the Lure-Coursing trials, which took place on the
Tuesday.
July 19th
Only Fifth week
and Kahira is
getting real BIG! I
just wonder how many little individuals there is inside
her...!?
July 9th
Kahira, Bibbis nipples
are starting to look like raspberrie's in size and colour,
so now I am quite sure she is having little ones inside, and
I'm so excited! It really is like Christmas every time!
Besides the early puppy stages, I think the nicest time is
when I can start to feel them move and kicking inside her
under my hand on her stomach!
July 7-8th, 2001
The Swedish Kennel Club held two big allbreed shows at
the same weekend in the south of Sweden.We did very well, in
spite of the extremely hot weather, the dogs had to be
covered with cold and wet towels all day. And they really
had pink "ties"! Lucky for us, the showground was nearby the
sea and a beach where dogs was allowed, so we could swim and
get some "cold comfort" in the evenings after the shows.

Best Male 2 and got his second CC, only ten months old! Antefas
Kahira was
BOS and Antefas
L'Odéah was
second Best Bitch. Seven entries.
Day two, the results was a little bit changed, but my Farao
Anubis Ramses was
still BOB, with his son Antefas
Menkhar as
Best Male 2, with CC and got his first CACIB (not shown this
year) BOS was this day Antefas
L'Odéah who
also won her first CACIB (not shown at all for a couple of
years) Antefas
Kahira was
second Best Bitch. Nine entries.
Antefas kennel
also had the BOB Breeders Group both days, but sad enough we
couldn't enter the finals, because one dog and its owner had
to go home before the finals.
June 16-17th, 2001
In Estonia the twins, Jebbe and Blond, did very well and Farao
Anubis Nemesis "Jebbe"
was BOB with her third CC, and Farao
Anubis Mossad "Blond"
got his first CC, and was BOS!
June 10th, 2001
After a long journey we
arrived to the big and important event which start to feel
like a yearly must, The World Dog Show! this time it was
held in Portugal and 8000 dogs were entered, so now I have
seen in real life, and of many specimen of each breed, all
the Podengo, Podenco, and "prick eared sighthounds" there
is! It was very exciting! And the Podenco Canario are really
stunning!
Rafael de Santiago was judging the PH's and BOB and World
Winner 2001 was my Farao
Anubis Ramses!
This was his second WW title! BM-2 and Junior World
Winner was my young handsome boy, Farao
Anubis Kahiro, almost 10 months old, and can now call
himself JWW-01. His brotherFarao Anubis Aakhe got
Exc.1.
BOS, CACIB and her third(!) World Winner title went to Ch
WW-98 WW-00 Antefas
Kahira!
Ramsan was
picked out by the Finnish judge Hans Lethinen, as one of six
in the biggest group five I have ever seen, about 50
different breeds of spitzes and sighthounds, it was a real
thrill!
On our way back home we took one week of holiday and
spent some days in Spain and I met my family (my father, and
my sister who is a photo model, uncles, and many cousins)
for the first time in 25 years. Then I and the dogs was
swimming and sunbathing in Biarritz, France, and lived
luxury life a couple of days!

Farao Anubis Sibuna, "Maja"
went BOB and was placed as Group 4 at an all breed Kennel
Club Show in Vänersborg.
May 26-27th, 2001
We had yet another fantastic
weekend when we attended the Swedish Sighthound
Clubs big yearly official Sighthound show at
Bosjökloster! Saturday the 26th, 15 PH's were entered for
the French judge Guy Monsencal.
And Best of Breed with CC and Best In Show 3 was Antefas
L'Odéah, Lung-Anne, who also became Swedish Champion!
Best Bitch 2 was Ch Antefas
Kahira. BOS was Ch Farao
AnubisRamses who
also had Best Progeny Group, which finally was placed as
BIS-3.
Farao Anubis Aakhe went
Best Male 5 and Best In Show Junior! (all Sighthound breeds)
at his first show!
Sunday the 27th The Swedish Pharaoh Hound Club held
one of the two yearly Specialties, and this time 23 PH's was
entered for the American judge Linda Scanlon.
And Antefas
L'Odéah did
it once again! She won Best In Show! With Monica Lundqvist
as her skilly handler nothing seems impossible! Monica, you
really did a great job! THANK YOU!
Best Bitch 2, at our first show together, was my new
import, Ch Scheik's
Shenandoah, and she also became Swedish Champion this
weekend!
Best Bitch 5, and BIS Progeny Group was won by Ch Antefas
Kahira.
Best Male 2 was Ch Farao
Anubis Ramses.
Best Movements had Antefas
L'Odéah. Best
Pair was Antefas
Kahira & Farao
Anubis Aakhe. Aakhe who
also won Best In Show Junior!
What a day we had! I still have a big smile which goes from
one ear to the other!
May 19-20th, 2001
At the Latvijan Winner Show in Riga Farao
Anubis Nemesis, Jebbe,
won her first CC and Best of Breed! Nine months old! She
also got the titles Latvijan Winner 2001 and Latvijan Junior
Winner 2001!
May 12th, 2001
In Estonia the "twins", Farao
Anubis Nemesis and Mossad (Jebbe
and Blond) was shown for the first time, it was at an
National allbreed KC show in Kohtla-Järve, Judge was Mrs
Tamara Sarmont from White Russia, and they became BOB and
BOS Puppy, and on top of that Jebe won Best In Show 3 Puppy!
Not bad at all being the first "Estonian" PH's at a show in
Estonia! BIG CONGRATS TO THEIR OWNER RITA!
May 6th, 2001
We attended our
first show this year, it was an allbreed KC show in Skara
with an entry of 11 PH's. BOB and GROUPWINNER was Ch Farao
Anubis Ramses! This
was the fourth time Ramsan won Best of Group.
BOB and Best In Show 2 Puppy was Farao
Anubis Kahiro!
Antefas L'Odéah got
her second CC and finished as BB-3.
Breed judge was JHC Brooyman-Schallenberg, Holland and group
judge was Leif-Herman Wilberg, Norway.
We returned home quite contented!
April 28th, 2001
We attended yet another one of the
Swedish Sighthound Club national Lure Coursing trials, this
time in Förslöv, in the south of Sweden. Three PH's were
entered and total entry was 42 sighthounds. The
results/placements as follows:
1st, 71,25 points and his second certificate within a week!:
Ch Farao
Anubis Ramses (Just
one more, and Ramsan will become Swedish Lure Coursing
Champion!)
2nd, 68,75 points: Ch Farao
Anubis Sibuna
3rd, 68,25 points: Ch Antefas

April 21st, 2001
The Swedish Sighthound Club held an
national Lure Coursing trial in Simlångsdalen, in the south
of Sweden. Three PH's was entered (total entry of 63
sighthounds) and the result was:
1st, 74,25 points and certificate: Ch Farao
Anubis Ramses.
2nd, 67,75 points: Ch Farao
Anubis Sibuna.
3rd, 61 points: Ch Antefas
Kahira.
This was the first time a Swedish Pharaoh Hound
received an LC-certificate! (just takes two more for the
Swedish LC championship!) PH was the 5th best breed (of nine
breeds) at the trials!

I went
to Finland to import the beautiful Finnish multi champion
bitch, Scheiks Shenandoah, "Reetta"
who I'm sure is going to be a wonderful complement to my
breeding later on.
